Homework to Hone the System

Something I've always said is I am trying to teach you guys a strategy that is as mechanical as possible.

Now that many of you have a good grasp on the basics I want to take things another step forward.

The 2 main ways you are going to improve on this strategy are as follows

The first is practice, practice, practice. This seems like a basic answer but it is so important. There are so many things about trading, this strategy and otherwise that can't be taught in a book, youtube video or discord. They are learned thru experience, getting in the market and getting the reps in.

The second, which I can teach you, is starting to better understand the top down nature of the markets. I've started you off with a simple frame work, the H12 and the H1. The H12 gives you your direction bias, draw on liquidity, order flow etc, the H1 is where you hunt for your entry.

I've explained and demonstrated to you guys that this strategy is portable to other time frames, like the H4/M15 in the latest back test video. The next level is simply realizing the same logic I've given you can be used across all time frames at the same time.

So here is what I want you to think about, and do some home work on, and the next video I produce will be around this topic.

Rather than just looking for your H12 range, POI and then drilling down to the H1. I want you to start higher.

I want you to find a bullish H12 range, in the discount (below 50%) of a bullish weekly range. Then drill down to the H1 for entries. Gather some data and share your results in here.

What you should find is that your strike rate, and the potential RR is vastly better than just focusing on the H12/H1 alone.

Remember this is portable to all time frames... Weekly bullish range in discount, bullish h12 range, bullish H4 range, M15 entry... You should get the idea.

This will help you be even pickier with your set ups and help you identify major turning points within the market. Using this logic you will be able to better identify major swing trades and higher probability set ups.
