How I Start my Trading Day - Pt. 1

2 min read · 290 words

This is Part 1 of my trading day. How I start my trading day begins the night before. Part 2 will be the actual trading day itself, which will be a 2-part video.

Pre-Night Checklist: Preparing for the Next Trading Day

Create a Watchlist of Assets

Focus on top-volume cryptocurrencies likely to be in play.

Frequently includes: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, River, Axis, Dusk, XMR, and even meme coins like Doge or Pepe.

Skip BTC and ETH for Daily Review

Already analyzed in-depth.

These tend to move slowly, so prior analysis usually holds.

Technical Analysis Examples (Night Before)

  1. 1Solana (SOL)

Identify daily support zone between 122-128.

Will look for potential long entries if price returns to that range, especially on large down candles.

  1. 1River

Price appears to be topping out (~34-35).

Strategy: Short if price sweeps above 35 and closes below previous highs on higher timeframes.

  1. 1Axis

Similar to River setup.

Look to short if price sweeps previous high, then closes below.

  1. 1Dusk

Already showing signs of breakdown.

No overnight trade due to high volatility.

Only consider longs if it falls to 10 cents zone (clear support).

Behaves like a pump-and-dump, exercise caution.

Sleep and Mental Readiness

Always aim for 6.5 to 7 hours of sleep.

Trading is a mental performance game.

Treat sleep as essential preparation.

Sleep is like the ultimate mental supplement.

Summary & Key Takeaways

Preparation is everything - reduces being overwhelmed when market opens.

Focus on key levels, not reacting blindly to morning moves.

Use short setup logic: price sweeps key high → closes below → look for entry.

Avoid risky trades without clear setups, especially in volatile coins.

Mental sharpness (via sleep) is as vital as technical strategy.
